Blow-Off Unit with Turning Function – Essential Equipment Before Palletizing
For a customer from the glass industry, we delivered a blow-off unit, a machine used to remove mechanical contaminants in the process preceding palletizing.
Key Design Assumptions
When designing the system, we took into account the customer’s most important requirements:
- Plug & Play – installation of the machine on the line with the shortest possible downtime,
- own compressed air source – no need for the customer to provide an external installation,
- automatic operating mode – fully automated removal of contaminants,
- tailored to customer needs – a solution adapted to the production scale.
The blow-off unit with turning function has been manufactured by us for over 20 years.
We can boast high reliability – some machines from the early 2000s are still operating at our customers’ facilities.
Main Advantages of the Proposed Solution
The blow-off unit is an important element of the process of preparing products for packaging, enabling effective removal of mechanical contaminants before the palletizing stage.
The transported glass containers are positioned at appropriate intervals, then turned, blown off and returned to their original position.
The applied solution:
- does not require stopping or slowing down the production line,
- ensures continuous operation of the transport system,
- has its own compressed air generator for the blow-off process,
- improves the quality of the packaging process and reduces the risk of contamination.
